This small piece is experimental. After trying many colors of ceramic pencils – red, blue, green, turquoise, black, yellow – I learned that some burn off and some remain. This is the first successful piece, and isn’t mounted yet for hanging. I’ll soon be doing some larger pieces using this method, also in plate glass. The color is actually richer using plate glass than art glass, because of the green cast of the glass. Later, I might try some art glass in different colors…onward!
