Camping in Firelight

Stencil print with acrylics, 2021, 5”x7”

Each color represents a different stencil, except for white which is the raw paper color. The first layer is Naples yellow, and each color is printed over that, with the dark people printed over the whole as the top layer. This was great fun to figure out! I made 7 copies, all somewhat different, as is always true of prints. The joke is the tiny marshmallow being toasted; I got sent to buy provisions for s’mores, but never having had a s’more before, I got the wrong size marshmallows, and they were flavored lemon and lime. I still hear about this.
