Glass with oak base, 2013, 18"x18".

A wonderful project that I loved doing! It was something of a departure from my usual practice, as I don't usually work to the specifications of a commission. But, with the Lewinsville Presbyterian Church (Virginia), I had a very good experience. A few bumps in the glass, which kept making an irregular rim, but persistence and many bowls made things good. The pedestal was custom-built by Deragh Cassidy. The whole thing was in place for Easter 2013.
