Wild Flowers

Glass with concrete base, 2012, ~26"x8"x8".

Borosilicate glass rods, kiln-shaped, sandblasted, rubbed with transparent oil color, flowers of baked frit, bases cast concrete with 3/4" copper sleeves, oil color. Picking up one of these with my left thumb in the sleeve wrenched a tendon in my wrist, something I don’t advise to the unwary.
