Glasgow Art School Pranks

Watercolor, 2005, ~12”x9”.

Near the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow, an equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington, with his traffic-cone dunce’s cap. Funny and also fairly permanent, it seems - Google “Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow”, and many pictures come up of the Duke with his adornment. We thought it was end-of-term hi-jinks, and so it was, but the end of term seems to linger through the year.
