Hoop I & II

Glass with steel stand, 2011, ~12"x12"x1.5" (glass); ~15"x12"x4" (with stand). Hoop I and Hoop II are the same size.

I got so fascinated with the potential for catching light with fragments of glass, that I strove in these pieces to get as many facets as possible. They are made from tempered glass bits, melted just enough to make a single piece. Double-sided.
