Michelangelo did it first, the pointing finger animating the clay of Adam. There are a jillion copies on the internet, not all by Michelangelo, so I thought I’d settle it once and for all – life is good when you’re having fun.
I made this image first in watercolor in June, and then re-did it in glass, not exactly the same.
The process is glass powders pushed into the shapes you want, then fired, one color at a time. How many times did I fire this piece? Four, I think.
It has a steel shelf to support it as it leans against the wall.
